Kailash Tour by flights via Ngari Gunsa (Ali)

On your second day, you will start with a good morning breakfast at your hotel. Then, you will head out to explore the city of Lhasa with your guide. You will get to see 3 really interesting places today. First, there's the big and beautiful Potala Palace. It is an amazing building that you will love looking at. Then you will visit Jokhang Temple, which is a very important religious place. Finally, you will walk around Barkhor Street. This is a lively area where you can buy souvenirs to remember your trip or buy for your loved ones back home. It is a fun day filled with seeing new things and learning about Lhasa's culture.

On the third day, you will head to the Lhasa airport early in the morning. You are going to catch a plane to Ali Gunsa airport, which is in a place called Ngari in Tibet. The flight takes about 2 hours and covers a total distance - over 1000 kilometers. When you land, you will be standing at an elevation of about 4275 meters above sea level. Thereafter we head to the hotel and stay for the night to acclimatize with high altitude conditions.

On day 4, you will start your journey to Lake Mansarovar after your morning meal. The trip takes about 5 hours. It will cover a distance of 255 kilometers along the G219 highway. It is a beautiful drive, so you will be having amazing views on the way. When you get to the lake, you will see a lot of people worshiping the beautiful Mansarovar lake. Many people like to take a dip in the holy water or join in prayer ceremonies. It is a really peaceful and meaningful experience that you will feel. Later, you will go on a 90 kms circumambulation, which will take around 3-hours. You will use a local car for this trip.

On the 5th day, you will start early with a walk to Lake Mansarovar. This is a chance to get some of the lake's holy water before you leave. After that, you will head to Darchen, which is the base camp of the sacred Mount Kailash. When you get to Darchen, you will check into the hotel. After that you will drive to Yamdwar 7km ahead from where you can see Mt. Kailash and back to hotel. Thereafter you shall have the rest of the day free to look around the town. You can do some shopping or chat with the local people and understand the ways of life in there.

On the sixth day, you will again start early with a quick meal before heading to Yam Dwar. This is where people begin their walk around Mount Kailash. You will get to see amazing views of the mountain's south side. Many visitors take a moment here to pray or do special ceremonies. You shall also have the moment for the same. After this, you will get back in the car for a 4-hour drive to Ali, also called Ngari Gunsa. It is quite a long trip - about 215 kilometers. When you arrive, you will then check into the hotel for the night.

On the 7th day, you will start with a nice breakfast at your hotel. Then, it is time to head to Ngari Gunsa airport. You are going back to Lhasa today. The plane ride takes about two and a half hours, and you will cover quite a distance - over 1000 kilometers. Once you land in Lhasa, our team will be there to take you to your hotel.

On Day 8 of your journey, after having a good breakfast at your hotel, you will be heading to Lhasa airport for your departing flight. You get to take off with fond memories of your Kailash Mansarovar flight tour via Ali Gunsa Ngari Tibet.
