To join our Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, you will need to fill out a booking form and send it to our office in Kathmandu. You will also need to pay a deposit – it is 25,000 rupees for Indian citizens and $500 for others. You can get this deposit back if you cancel within 30 days of booking. After that, it is non-refundable.

Amendments :
Our Kailash Yatra trips run on set dates, therefore we may not be able to make changes for just one person. If you need to change something, please tell us in writing. We shall do our best to help. But kindly keep in mind that any changes might come with cost extra. You will need to pay these costs before your trip starts. We want to make sure everyone in the group has a smooth journey, so we appreciate your understanding about sticking to the planned schedule.
Cancelation:
We do our best to plan your trip carefully, but sometimes things happen that are out of our control. If your journey gets canceled or changed because of bad weather, natural disasters, strikes, political issues, or other unexpected problems, we can’t offer refunds. If these issues cause extra costs during your trip, you will need to cover them. It’s important to know that trips to Mount Kailash are in a remote area with basic facilities, and there is always a chance things might change due to weather or government decisions. Our team works hard to make your trip successful, but the final say always belongs to local officials and the Chinese government. We just want you to be aware of these possibilities before you travel.
If you need to cancel your trip, please send us a written notice – we can’t accept cancellations by phone. Here’s what you’ll pay, depending on when you cancel:
When you make a reservation with us and pay the initial deposit, we immediately start planning your trip. If you need to cancel after this point, there’s a certain fee will be taken to cover our processing costs.
It is important to note that if you booked using any special deals like early bird discounts, last-minute offers, or loyalty programs, these bookings can’t be refunded if canceled, no matter the reason.
When you book your journey with us, you are confirming that you have read, understood, and agreed to our booking terms. We want to make sure everything is clear from the start, so you can enjoy planning your trip without any surprises.
Sometimes, we might have to cancel your trip due to things we can’t control, like closed borders, permit issues, safety concerns, or natural disasters. We’ll keep you updated and inform you as soon as possible if this occurs. We will try to offer you a similar trip if we can, or we will give you a refund.
The refund will be the money you paid us, minus any costs we have already spent on bookings. We will show you exactly what these costs were, which can help if you need to make an insurance claim.
Unfortunately, we can’t be responsible for any other costs in these situations. It is also worth noting that sometimes, even with a valid permit, government officials might not let you enter a country if they decide you don’t meet their requirements. We will do our best to help, but some things are just out of our hands.
If you can’t finish your trip for any reason, we are sorry, but we won’t be able to give you your money back. This rule applies no matter why you had to stop your journey early. We know this might seem tough, but it is just how we have to handle things to keep our trips running smoothly for everyone.
By signing up for this trip, you are informing us that you are fit and healthy enough for the journey. The Kailash Yatra is pretty tough – it goes up in high elevation and the weather can be harsh. So, it is important that you are in good shape, both in body and mind.
If you have any health issues that might affect your trip, you need to let us know in writing before we start. This way, we can make sure you’re ready for the adventure and can help you stay safe along the way.
Remember, your health and safety are super important to us!
Please kindly note that individuals over the age of 70 years will not be eligible for a Kailash permit.
Please note that our trip cost doesn’t cover personal travel insurance. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right insurance for your journey to Kailash. Make sure your policy covers you for the whole trip and includes things like getting sick, getting hurt, losing your stuff, or if you need to change or cancel your plans. Having good insurance is really important for your safety and peace of mind during the pilgrimage.
If your trip package includes flights, please note that the overall price might change if the airline raises their ticket costs before your journey begins. We will need to adjust the package price to reflect this. Also, we are not responsible for any flight changes or cancellations made by the airline. If your trip can’t happen because of these airline issues, it won’t be counted as a cancellation on our part. We just want to make sure you understand how airline-related changes might affect your travel plans and costs.
This trip is really challenging because of the high elevation. You need to be physically fit to manage it. If you have breathing problems or heart issues, you might struggle with the thin air up there. Before you go, it is always a good idea to see your doctor. They can check if you are healthy enough for this tough journey. You will be dealing with cold weather, dusty roads, and climbing up to really high places – almost 6,000 meters! It is therefore very important to know if your body can cope with all that. Your doctor can help you figure out if this adventure is safe for yo
When you travel to high places, you might feel a bit off. Altitude sickness, also known as mountain sickness, can make you feel dizzy, fatigued, or give you a headache. Don’t worry, it is normal! To help you get used to the thin air, we will stay in Kayrong for two nights before going higher. This gives your body time to adjust. Don’t forget to stay hydrated and take it easy — avoid strenuous exercise.
Also, skip the alcohol and cigarettes before and during the trip. It’s a good idea to bring some Diamox pills, but ask your doctor about how to use them. We will have special equipment called a Gamow bag to help if anyone feels really bad from the altitude.
The unit of Chinese currency is Yuan. USD 1 = 7,27 Yuan and 1 Yuan = INR 11.48 approx (Dated 8th July 2024). Money can be exchanged between Nepal and Tibet Border. Convert all your leftover Yuan into Nepali currency at the border before you return to Nepal at the end of your trip.
We shall do our best to make your trip enjoyable, but please understand that things can sometimes change unexpectedly. Our tours follow the rules set by local authorities, and we can’t control everything. If something like bad weather, road problems, or political issues affects your trip, we might need to change plans. This could mean extra costs, which you’d need to cover. We also can’t be responsible for delays with permits, visas, flights, or if you get sick or have an accident. We just want you to be aware that travel can be unpredictable, especially in this region. We’ll always try to help, but some things are out of our hands.
Sometimes things don’t go as planned on trips, especially with helicopter rides. Bad weather, machine problems, or other issues we can’t control might stop the helicopters from flying. If this happens, we’ll do our best to find you a place to stay and food to eat. We’ll also try to find other ways to get you where you need to go. We just want you to know this before you book your trip. We will always do our best to help, but in such cases if there are any additional expenses, the same will be borne by the pilgrims. We do not bear any responsibility for any last minute changes due to any reason beyond our control.
